Natural Engineer version 6.1.1
now generally available.

The latest version of Natural Engineer, version
6.1.1
is now available. Enhancements include the following:
- New Natural Engineer
Interface:
- Natural Engineer is now
an MDI application, using the MDI concept of an MDI frame and client window.
- Multiple windows can now
be opened at the same time.
- Improved accessibility to
the application data and the application management functions via the
application workspace.
- Enhanced Extract Process:
- A new enhanced Extract
process is available, offering much improved performance - 60 times faster
than previous version!
- The old Extract process
is still available.
- Use of the new enhanced
Extract process is controlled by the NATENG.INI parameter "CEE=".
- Enhanced Load Process
- A new enhanced Load
process is available, providing the ability to run asynchronously within
Natural Engineer.
- Allows you to start
reviewing large applications as they are loading, without the need to wait
for the Load process to complete.
- Restart functionality
allows you to restart the Load process and continue from the last loaded
object, rather than from the beginning.
- New Internal Object Logic
(Flowchart) Diagram
- Provides a diagram that
documents the internal processing logic of an object using a flowchart style
diagram.
- Diagrams can be viewed
either on-line or as hardcopy printed documents.
- Structure Flow Diagram
- The Structure Flow
Diagram has been renamed to Object Cross Reference Diagram.
- Program Flow Logic
Diagram
- The Program Flow Logic
Diagram has been renamed to Internal Object Logic (JSP) Diagram.
- General Problem and Error
Corrections.
