New Euro remedy strategies

At the end of March 2000, Software AG released a new version of its Eurotool GenEuro. GenEuro V5.2.1 supports new flexible remediation strategies. These enhancements are the results of experiences of several Euro customer projects in Europe using GenEuro.

As there are several remediation strategies possible depending on the customers individual Euro conversion strategy, GenEuro is now supporting the most common ones.

The supported remedy strategies in Version 5.2.1 are:

- Euro Field expansion
- Euro Map remedy using map rules
- Euro Map remedy with map duplication.

In addition to the new remedy strategy, GenEuro user exits allow flexible tailoring of the remedy strategy to the user's exact requirements.

Software AG is offering comprehensive professional services and tool support for migrating Natural and 3GL applications to the Euro.
